Your logic is extremely, extremely flawed when you disagree with the fact that she has braces. I imagine that she (or at least her parents) pay for them, so why not? I mean, that’s like saying we shouldn’t be eating the food we eat because there are people starving out there. Or we shouldn’t buy fast cars because some places have no mode of transportation. That makes NO sense; if someone can afford something really nice, then they have earned the right to buy things as they wish, as long as it pleases them. Buying fake glasses, braces, fast cars, high quality food, etc. Doesn’t matter, because we have EARNED that, and no one can take that away from us, no matter how unfortunate someone else’s situation is. Don’t get me wrong, I am very sympathetic towards those with less. But those who have more have earned it most of the time.
